$4.7 million for enhanced FOQA mods

So management can measure with a micrometer what some fleets' FMSs can't even perform within a yardstick.

Here's an idea. Use the money to update aircraft horizontal and vertical nav performance... not to compile an arcane data trove.

FOQA is one of the best safety tools around. A significant number of Delta aircraft do not have FOQA. It's time to get all aircraft equipped.

I'm not opposed to FOQA by any means.

I would like the guys on the biggest fleet to have the tools to succeed. No one can claim the 88/90 fleet possesses the tools to succeed vs every other fleet.

When FOQA can measure tolerances far tighter than a fleet's capabilities...that's flat-out nonsense.
