And if they need relief on 76 seaters they can have some. In fact, how many 76 seaters do they need? They can have them. As many as they want.

As long as we fly them.

As long as there is iron clad language RE larger mainline A/C if we fly them. Otherwise we will see more downsizing. We all know how ironclad DALPA crafts the language RE scope/JV. I would be skeptical.

Does anyone know if we get a corporate discount on tickets to Disney parks and if so where to find out how to use it?

unfortunately not. Just discounted airline tickets... if seats are open and you're extremely senior.

Maybe sorta. It's under Delta perks. I think it's more like discounts on multi day packages (5 day pass for price of 3). Link below is for FL, but they have stuff in California as well.

Not to mention the fact that it has already been proven the Co will violate the scope clause like it was simply a suggestion in the contract. I'm not feeling like giving more relief until we start complying with what we have now. Fool me once.......

DALPA has never enforced the scope clause. They just amend it whenever the company wants to do something that doesn't comply.

We might as well just delete Section 1.

That would be more intellectually honest than going through the "constructive engagement" kabuki dance every few years.

Yeah. DPJ, RAH, AF/KLM, etc.

How about in return each pilot chooses a section of the contact they get to ignore? Each month you bid a new section. Sounds fun.

Commuting Policy Changes

Does anyone else find the timing of the rewritten Commuting Policy in the FOM (Ch. 11, Sec. 5) a bit suspicious? Maybe DALPA has a plan for some concessions to restore the status quo.

The removal of offline flights as a viable commuting option is a huge negative for NYC especially. What percentage of NYC based pilots use an offline commute as part of their plan with a Delta backup? How many former Dallas pilots commute on American with a Delta backup?

How many pilots are stuck with an AE from the last few bids they would not consider under the revised policy? I'll start the count at 1.

I agree its a messed up rewrite. Non-sensical really.

But DALPA has nothing to do with the FOM. I'm sure there is a reason someone made a bad decision on the fourth floor to get a promotion. again. Like the dude that took transponders and beacons off the pushback checklist.

The contractual commuter policy has not changed. The company can change other policies whenever they feel like it.
