I have used them twice to move kids to college this past year. Call the cargo reservation # with the dimensions and weight(at least approximate) of the boxes and the date you want to make the shipment. They'll give you a quote and make a listing for you. You need the listing number they give you when you show up at the cargo facility.
It is an incredibly good deal. For example, this spring, 6 medium size shipping boxes weighing a total of 250lbs from MSP-ABQ was $81 American. One of the last good employee deals out there.

I think I remember him saying he bids on his flying month the same as everyone else and usually ended up on reserve. However, there are plenty of months on he 777 where you could build 6-7 more lines with the open time. So, he may get trips.

Even when they bid rsv, they often will have trips bought for them.

Manchester? Looks hauntingly like the ATL.

Elliot's link is what you need to read and understand.

But in a nutshell, no. Your pay conversion date is listed on the training letter and has no relationship to when you finish sims or OE. It will start at the beginning of a month..

Incorrect. This has changed. There is a table in the PWA that addresses the data & cutoff, but the new rules are that if you complete your Checkride 44x, prior to the 14th of the month you are paid the new rate for the entire month.

I just did this in May, 44x on the 12th. Got 88A pay for the ENTIRE month.

Must be why they scheduled my 44X for the 16 of October. :(

Do we get reimbursed for our class 1 physicals? If so, where? I looked on icrew and only found rotation and training expenses.

Thanks!

It's automatic. It will show on your paystub in the top right corner. When you turn in your medical. They put it in the system. I don't think there's anywhere to check prior to getting paid. It should show on your PAS.

I have a buddy who is in that very situation as a 777 SLI. I believe he applied to another program but was asked to go to the 777. Hell of a good instructor to have though. :D

I think what happens, and this is from what I heard from other pilots, is that finding someone on the 777 who wants to come in and work 18 days a month vs fly the 777 or sit reserve on the 777 for the same amount of money-ish is hard to do. So they grab them from other fleets.
