I respectfully disagree.

As a FO SLI, One would have to be an early 2001 hire to get 777B pay, and the junior 777B guy (non INS) is a 3/2001 hire, #9501 on the latest category list. IIRC, by November it will fall to about #9900, off the May AE. As an FO SLI, the fact that someone junior to you can hold CA is irrelevant. It is determined solely by what you can hold as an FO.

I'm in training right now and confirmed it with my instructor (who is an FO) and two other SLI's. They are paid 777B pay because someone below them is holding captain.

Enjoy.

Scoop

One of my Fav opening movie scenes! Almost all B25s flying today are around because of that movie. Hand signals is the only way to fly that bomber at t/o power. The props are so close to your ear it is useless to try and communicate gear, props flaps etc..... At least ATC is very forgiving when you screw up, they can understand what is happening when you key the mic!:D

Guys, I'm sure this info is buried deep in this thread but I'm looking for actual first year monthly take home pay at Delta after taxes and standard deductions.

Can anyone think back? :)

Thanks.

Question on Green Slips

Quick question--if you don't have enough hours on your line to meet the Green Slip trigger, do you have to pick up time before you can be awarded a green slip or can you pick it up later in the month and then have the green slip that you flew earlier pay as a green slip? I only have 68 hours on my line for September and need to know if I need to white slip something first before I can be awarded a green slip. Thanks for any info.

You can pick it up later, or part of the GS will pay at straight rates until you get to the trigger. Or you can borrow from the bank, I think 5 hours.

Senior guys sometimes clear their line, get a big GS, then WS to fill up to the trigger. Those of us not so sr do the opposite

Thanks for the speedy response. I'm the not so senior type so will likely white slip when I can. Cheers!

Get a GS if you can, then try white slipping. Or just GS and borrow 5 hours from your bank to cover some time, if you borrow 5 hours, the first 2 hours of the GS will pay straight pay and the rest of your GS time will be at double pay. Yes they will award you a GS if you're not at the trigger. The trigger is for pay purposes only. Otherwise, everyone would try to drop their whole month and then just GS all month.

Most common complaints, non standardized, teaching of technique, lack of continuity of instruction.
Did you even see the LOSA report?

You lost me here, sorry, bud.
Good instructors get good surveys, so-so instructors get bad ones.
Are you with me now?
