So come Monday, it'll be alright... wait... come Monday, according to the security here at the ATL airport, buses will drop us off outside security. No more buses to the terminal. Didnt see that anywhere else so does anyone else know if that's true?
Im not even mad. It might even be a good thing. Sick of the non existent A bus. |

Mike,
Easy Hoss... First the easy one...greenslips Flown On Your Days Off are treated like Mike said. Greenslips flown on on-call days are treated like yellow slips. But, they mark you down as a GS received so you go to the end of the line. If the trip starts as a deadhead. The following is timeline out of order... Call scheduling within 24 hrs of sign in tell them you are deviating. Make your reservation to work under the company business tab in travel net within 2 weeks of the trips departure. Keep the hotel if you need it. There will be a minimal loss of perdiem. You cannot get a GS when on SC, they will just assign you a trip if legal. If you are on LC you can only get a GS if it is a call with less than 12 hours to report. That will be coded as an F#1 instead of a G#1, but still counts as a GS and you will go to the back of the line for GS#2. You still get the pay for the day that is coded an F above guarantee so it is not treated at all like a YS as far as pay goes. |

Thanks for the info scambo..
Just to make sure I have this right .. One can book the deadhead on the front end within 2 weeks prior to contacting scheduling 24hrs before departure? I have a trip coming up in a few weeks and wanted to book the DH because flights are getting full already. Thanks for any clarification! Sorry for the incomplete info on the GS stuff. The scheduling reference handbook trumps everything. I should always bow out of these GS discussions. They are mostly asking for practical advice for a domestic category. My practical advice is only for intl categories. |

Guys, I'm sure this info is buried deep in this thread but I'm looking for actual first year monthly take home pay at Delta after taxes and standard deductions.
Can anyone think back? :) Thanks. |

Have faith. The L&G annual renewal starts next week.
The return of college football !! http://www.totalprosports.com/wp-con...heerleader.jpg They are there to motivate male workers, play games, cheerlead, create a fun work environment for men, help the men who are terrible at socialising and get this... they greatly improve the males job efficiency and drive. So what if, we had cheerleaders? From what I know, the 717 pilots work environment is no longer fun, the guys can't talk to the passengers much less talk to each other and eficency and drive has plummeted. The ER guys already have all those elderly cheerleaders, it's the 717 guys that could use some help. So how about a pilot pilot cheerleading program? http://cdn23.us1.fansshare.com/photo...2020645802.jpg Or wait. Maybe not. It could go like this... http://images.sodahead.com/profiles/...898056231.jpeg Just forget it. But I will admit, if I had that at the gate that airplane would go out early to get the hell out of there. |
