I'm sure you complied with all mask mandates too.

Got sick 3 weeks ago. Fever 101.6, no other symptoms other than feeling like dog**** in general. Went to hospital. Gave me CV-19 test and influenza A&B test, all negative. Doc said it "was something viral". 3 days later no fever feeling better. No other symptoms. Another negative CV test before I went back to work (just wanted to make sure).

Dude, your body did what it was supposed to do.

Masks don't work, the protocols are basically eyewash for the masses. As evidence of us still catching the bug (or at least testing positive for it).

Your immune system, as a normal healthy person, is perfectly capable of handling 99.9% of viruses and bacteria.

I think you actually had Kovid-19.

It depends on what you mean by "masks don't work". They probably won't prevent you from breathing in a virus in close contact with someone, so in that sense yes, they don't work. However studies do show they will reduce the amount (and distance) of potential virus-laden vapor flowing around your nose and mouth. That's just common sense.

So how much is just "optics" or "eyewash"? Doesn't matter. It's better than nothing and if if makes people feel more safe so that they come fly with us, then it has achieved a purpose.

Even after the vaccine is widely available, mask and distancing protocols with probably be around for a couple of years. Not everyone will be willing to get vaccinated. So just get used to it.

I still haven’t gotten it.

I’ve been tested 3 times and tested once for antibodies. Negatives across the board.

I got sick recently, and it was at work. Was persistent low grade fever, chills, fatigue, body aches and generally feeling like crap. About six days after becoming symptomatic (still had fever etc,) was contacted by a member of the CPO and told I've been identified through contact tracing as exposed. I tested positive and at two week point from first feeling ill, still didn't feel 100% better. The exposure and infection occurred while at the training center for sim training. 11 days elapsed between exposure and when I was notified by company. First symptoms appeared 6 days after the known exposure.

I've had the flu. I will say, the flu was worse from the perspective of how severely, but acutely sick I felt. This one however, really wore me out with it's persistence. I was 11 days with an up and down low grade fever. Never had a fever that long before.

According to JL’s memo, the company was surprised at the number of pilots testing positive for Covid which attributed to the 600 cancellations last week. With that in mind, any thoughts on when they will be bringing a few off UNA? How do we know Christmas won’t be a repeat? Put me in coach!

I got it at my other work, when I was sent on a TDY for deployment spinup. 3 of the 7 of us came home with the ronas. I had symptoms for a total of 3 days...had a low grade fever for 1.5 days, one day where I felt ok, then a day where I felt mildly nauseous. I've had sinus infections which were way worse. We worse masks and sanitized regularly...it's all a crap shoot.
