I can only imagine it is in the upper six to seven figure range. Em lawyers and arbitrators are not cheap. |

Speaking of transportation, not sure if I mentioned it or not but the other day we got to ride in a nice stretch limo from the DFW hotel to the airport. It was great. Till the driver balked at our tips and demanded to know how we were paying for his limo and it spiraled downhill fast from there.
Now, needless to say, its not a simple we jumped into the wrong car. Limo driver lied to the Captain. I don't want to divulge any more information but do this, if its not the same vehicle that picked you up the night before (and I know golden touch can be a multitude of vehcile types and not all with the big golden touch wrap), call. Telling you anything else would be putting on the internet the kind of stuff the company RIGHTFULLY doesn't want on the internet. I bet that got ugly! |

That is what the million dollars that was collected from both sides is for. Doing as you suggest would create a long term division that would cause irreparable harm. It may feel good to some, but the long term effects and costs due to a divided group would cost each pilot a lot more than what they would get from the suit.
Simply not worth it. |

I see your point. I don't want to do anything to cause a division. I just want to make sure folks aren't spending that legal fund without a little bit of pause. I think it's one of the problems in our overly litigious society, there should be some consequences for filing something you know is going nowhere.
But trying to address it by say, having someone pay their bills up front and if they win, reimbursing them after the fact, would deter people from filing legit grievances. |
So ACL or any other wizards out there...When is the AE going to be posted and what are the hot rumors on new bases or closures? Thanks
