That is always the excuse, right up there with "we can't get the airplanes" or "there are no aircraft that works they way we want it to".

We heard the same excuses at NWA with regards to the EMB....yet somehow they spooled up an entire company from zero AND mysteriously got the previously undesirable, unobtainable airplanes virtually overnight.

Its like a cartoon. I have been climbing up the "rope" of seniority for over 10 years and have climbed quite a bit. The problem is the "rope" has been burning beneath me - so I am really no further from the end.

Looking at the contract they can't schedule you to go over your ALV. So to me that means withing 5 hours of ALV I basically released. I can't think of any scenario where a Reserve would get a 1 day trip worth 5:15.

GS will be single pay no credit(not that it matters) It adds to your total monthly pay and is not subject to ALV +15.

I called scheduling recently and told them that I had hit ALV and wanted them to note I was full for the month. In fact there are a few guys that I know that have filled up or will have filled up by the 22nd.

Christmas is going to be very short. I will be enjoying mine with my family. Cell will be in the car. :D
