They followed procedure. There is absolutely no evidence to support sailing's story, none. If it were true, there would be something, a memo, am LEC Comm piece, a scrap of some sort.

Why is that a big deal?

Glad I wasn't the only one who watched that.

I think the majority would take the staple, I have to go to the bottom of a major list, if I get hired, at some point anyway...the sooner the better. With this proposal it is possible that most people wouldn't even be near the bottom of the list as many regionals are actively hiring.

There would be a minority that would want more. I could think of a few people I flew with at my last regional that made the argument (The Joe Merchant w-2 argument, which I heard at my last carrier). They are wrong and I feel would be canceled out by most of us.

Just wanted to make sure that you weren't going to retreat from that stance. What about the clause in merger policy that allowed for prenups? Why did they not choose that portion of the checklist?

You and I have argued this time and time again. These "inexperienced" MECs knew exactly what they were doing. You know it and I know it. As it were, they had you waiting in the wings with a wealth of experience, knowledge, and legal ramifications.

Then you try to play the slam dunk angle with management just magically accepting the integrated list- ironically just as we were coming up for C2K negotiations and would be COMPELLED to use all available means in order to get management to accept the integrated list. Of course, the legal ramifications would again be waiting in the wings to insure the use of "all available means"

And then we have all of the former ASA/COMAIR pilots who had been hired by Delta, and who had a very good idea of what exactly both pilot groups were actually seeking.

Despite all of that, I completely buy your story, although you have stuck with it for over a decade

But the napkins matched, the napkins man. The ulitmate operational integration card-the napkins

Back to your cookout with Merchant--who ran around telling everybody he could find moving on to Delta that they would be junior to their former co-workers.

I can't believe you are still spewing this garbage after a decade.

Being new to having a schedule, how often does scheduling run "swap with the pot" requests?

Default Happy Thought of the Day

American, with the most restrictive scope in the industry just made the largest mainline jet order in history, while stating an intent to dump Eagle in the open market.

Then we agree about one thing.

Go back to C.G. and M.P. and ask them for some documentation to back up what they told you. What? There isn't any! Oh, yes, your new hire line FO's are your source

I was a supporter for the prenup concept (despite what you post) and have no affinity for Joe. It comes down to unity and scope restoration. He's against it.

Yes, and anyone remember what ALPA's President said about American's scope?

In order to avoid a punch in the nose from an irate P90X practitioner, I'll hold back.

How would 5000 North pilots get 1001 South pilots to send in cards?

STEP 1: Tell them that DPA is founded on _____(fill in your gripe)____.
STEP 2: Hope to win the election.
STEP 3: If you win the election, what is to stop the "Interim President" from then announcing the real intention of DPA?

I think you seriously need to think about how a smaller group would have to be extremely sneaky to pull off an overturn of a legally awarded list. The simple fact is they would have to sucker some number of the larger group!

Maybe you like this video better?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ITQx...eature=related
Watch time stamp 3:00 on the video.

America West pilot:
"If you're right you should be able to go to court and get it overturned."..."Go to court and get it changed. Go through a legal process. Get it thrown out!"

USAPA/DPA Attorney: "This is the process"

USAPA/DPA Attorney said it best about throwing out a seniority award --> Sending in your card "This IS the legal process".
