Reasonable to you and me (any Delta pilot or a Comair guy hired post-2001) are probably the same - Comair/ASA staple, no argument.
However, a 30-year Comair ALPA pilot probably had a different idea of "reasonable". I'm dissapointed that some were way too smug about it and pizzed in everyone's Wheaties (Delta and Comair). But they were coming from a different point of view.
After all, were the German pilots being "unreasonable" when they bombed Pearl Harbor?

Anybody use short term disability here? Buddy tore his ACL. Not ACL65pilot, just the ACL in the knee. We've been reading the contract but anyone with experience that has some do's and do nots?
Also on a separate but possibly similar subject - wear your seatbelts on the hotel van.

Anyone else hearing this??
The rumor is that DAL/DALPA/DCI are in talks with each other to bring the RJ-700/E-170 and above to mainline. Pilots would come with where the DCI pilots are given system seniority numbers on the bottom of our list and retain their current seat seniority for bidding purposes.
Seems to have some legs. It makes sense if they want the 190/RJ1000 and want the training efficiencies.

I would love that the RJ and the RJ pilots come on to our property (If they want), but I have a feeling the DCI pilots would want better than staple. Unacceptable.

As long as those pilots are placed behind current DAL pilots Im ok and excited with that. I have nothing against DCI pilots, but the majority of their A/C growth, hiring and success has been due in part by a large sacrifice and career degradation of Mainline pilots.
