And OU #1? I'm fine with that if we implement the OU rule. No matter where OU is at the end of the season they don't get to go to the BCS National Title. :D

What's the 73B look like? ;)
I think it leaves out a "night override" for a portion of a month's sched, well pretty much ALL of a LAX 73N's hours!! I gotta be honest, I think 6:15 is shooting for the moon.....Not to manage anyone else's expectations, I would be satisfied with 6:00, phased in :15 minutes up each year over 3 years. In reality, the company is already screwed wrt having enough pilots trained and flying the published schedule, if we all got 1-2 extra days off per month immediately they would have to park planes. So a phase in would be fine with me. None of it matters without a more concrete scope on the TOP and BOTTOM end of the flying, and better scheduling/reserve rules, but all of that is subject to change with the eventual publication of the FT/DT. I'd be interested to see FDX plus 1% (hopefully the AA deal), and then AA plus 2% for UCAL, then UCAL plus 2% for us. Pattern UP!!!! |

Were they using reduced thrust? I did not know that.
If I recall the details (from reading the hundred-page ALPA report 4 years ago) "V1-rotate" were called out well before reaching actual V1, and there was increasing backpressure on the yoke as the pavement ended. Lots of guys have gotten CRJs off runway 26 in LEX, but they were using Microsoft Flight Sim and not trying to save on engine wear. |

Yes, and there was no advancement of the thrust levers in the final two seconds between "whoa..." and first impact.
