Did you see the numbers on the MD90? It appears that airplane would better justify the cost of the kit and 6% is a pretty big number, if that works out on the stage lengths we fly them.

Actually, zero. Mid-Late 90's at the earliest and as recent as 2010. 100 more on the way! Step up to the Fluff. Dig it.

The only airplane that, after takeoff, the controllers say, "nice punt, Delta!"

Hey now, I've been all over America with a PT-6 with no problems at all. That is one well made engine!

I wondered about that too, so I looked into it… Japanese papers are reporting that FO had 2,400 hrs, and CA had 16,500 hrs. That seems more believable. I think it was translation error

Wow, another 129 retirements for Oct 1 at AA.

Where have I seen this before?

Cheers

#4. "etc" is a gray word that lawyers will shoot holes in like Swiss Cheese. What does etc mean? What about Inverse Assignments? Should those still be premium pay? IF so, then this proposal is a big fat no in my book, because it is not fair to require a senior guy to stay home and forego a GS when the junior guy answers his phone and gets dbl pay.
Both good points T. I'm not a lawyer and was trying to stay within my 750 characters on the first one. I do want to see lots of examples and clarifications so we don't have to later debate what the definition of "is" is.

etc was me being lazy and not thinking of every possibility. IA has been added to my list. My intent is that no one picks up anything (or is IA'd) if we have guys on the street. No one flying over ALV, etc. If we're constantly running out of reserve pilots and have guys on the street, then it's time to start recalling pilots.

I'm fine with going ALV+15 when there are no guys on the street, but that should be the max cap, including swaps, pots, trip parking, whatever. The goal should be to get our pay up so we don't have to be our own worst enemy. Stagnation sucks for everyone and the sooner we fix the contract so guys don't have to grab every hour they can, the better.

Anyone know what a "CG Management System" is?

Somewhere in all those aadd-on and extensions is a little DC-9 wing hiding ;-)

I'm still trying to figure out what "button" he could have pushed that would cause a 130 degree roll?

Perhaps he inadvertantly put his hand on the rudder trim wheel for support, while reaching with his other hand for the door lock, and spun the trim wheel?

OR...maybe he stretched out one leg while reaching for the door lock, and had his foot on the rudder pedal, pushig it too far, too fast?
