They're all the same girl. Keely Hazell. Do a Google image search, you won't be disappointed.

Fellow reserve guys... is there anyway to put in a request that says, "I don't want short call, but if I have to, make it after a certain time?" All I can find is the "put yourself first in line for short call" method.

I always just picked up the phone and called them, tell them what I want, see if I could beg them into working with me. They were usaully pretty good about it.
Only way is with a phone call to scheds, unfortunately. I do it occasionally and they are usually pretty good about it, but sometimes seem a little put off. I too wish we had a way to tell them what we want without calling and bothering them. They pick up the phone all day, probably last thing they want is our little personal requests, but I still do it.

What many are not going to see because it was not in a sound bite is this: DAL will be pulling more and more RJ lift out of other hubs like ATL in favor of mainline aircraft. Those 50 seat RJ's that were in ATL are going to go to MEM and those jets that were in MEM will be performing flying in LGA. It is not a a simple addition of mainline flying in LGA that we will see. It is the effect on the other hubs that we will need to take note of.
Aren't you assuming that for that to be true the # of rj's remaining the same?Didn't the company recently sign a new agreement with gojet? So I think thus new rj expansion could be funded with the new influx of gojet aircraft and no effect on the other hubs that you mentioned. With respect to the erj questions of who operates them,asa/expressjet,chautauqua,and wasn't the gojet announcement for erj's or not?
What many are forgetting is what DALPA keeps telling us when we park aircraft - "We can incease the aircraft utilization rate."
Yeah, well DAL can and will increase the utilization rate on RJs (no block hour limit). So all this hope of mainline picking up RJ pulldowns elsewhere is just wishful thinking. DALPA once again carries managements water. Adding insult to injury DALPA gets the Pilots to participate in a Call To Action.
I have been hearing that we will use RJs to grow markets for mainline since 2000 - has not happend yet.
On the bright side at the rate we are shrinking the DPA will have majority a lot sooner.
