This forensic postology on what Carl said seems exhausting. On a week-end, no less.

Look, it's like re-doing a post-mortem on Hannibal Lecter's victims: you might discover a trace of Chianti in the liver, but at the end of the day, you'll cover little new ground. We don't need to understand why Carl wants to kill ALPA so badly, or how he wants to kill it, we just have to recognize he'll butcher it whenever he can. It's what he does.

Personally, I'm interested in this group, and whether we succeed. I'll judge this by the T/A, although I agree the opener will offer clues. I also agree with Carl it's way too early to start speculating on positive outcomes. Then again, the fact we're actually talking, while it offers no guarantee it will yield anything satisfactory, is certainly encouraging.

Yep. Could be a long road. We will just have to wait and see.

I've got to admit, I thought everyone acknowledged the opener wasn't being published. :D I thought that was a well known way of doing business. I mean there were posts going back for months about it. I don't recall anyone saying it definitely will be shared, just that some thought it would be. We even talked about why it would be good not to see it and I thought that may be somewhat acceptable because the TA is what mattered.

Does anyone know if this will be as exhaustive as the 131 page C2K opener contract comparison?

Either way, the important thing to me is to watch the other hand any time something is made public by anyone including the TA.

You seem to know guys rears in detail. Whatever works for ya.

Hardly exhausting, it's quite easy. The exact wording of the Council 20 chairman's letter was posted by me yesterday. Next to it are my exact words that I used when I referenced his letter. Side by side bro...anyone who can read, can decide.

Quoting ALPA's own words and court transcripts is not "butchering". It's the recitation of fact. Those who adore ALPA above all else cannot stand to see those facts aired, thus you must characterize it as "butchering" and "kill it". If being this kind of a drama queen gets you to ignore the facts about your loved one, so be it.

You know tsquare, I've come to expect this type of ignorance from you. And as such, it doesn't bother me when you post stuff like this. But there are 5,000 other fNWA pilots that also walked out rather than keep the B scale as management demanded. I know you think it doesn't matter to insult us as we're not "real" Delta pilots anyway, but you probably should re-think this particular line of insulting.
