Then what do we complain about? Hats and leather jackets

I talked about this being an effective way to recapture scope, but maneuver out of these cpa's over a year ago. It helps us the Dal pilots, helps the company and offers a way for the DCI operators to morph out of their old models. i do not know if SKW would get the same deal because that would lessen the benefit of being Alpa, but who knows.

Interesting rumor. Source?
Look, first of all I called that rumor the weirdest for a reason, I think it is mostly unworkable, but with tht said: There are 2 aviation university programs that guarantee an interview at (the ASA wing of) expressjet. The new hire interview is (at least in large part) conducted by Delta (psych, cognitive, sim) at Virginia Ave, ASA pilots have, for a while, enjoyed most favored nation status at DAL when hiring fires up. Now, with DAL conducting a chunk of the interview, there are not a whole lot of pieces to put in place.

Sources: Multiple ASA pilots. Apparently they get this info from their flt ops chief at recurrent.

I know absolutely nothing else.

I was moderately aroused with the -900 order being that I fly that plane. Anything smaller is, ahem, ho hum.
More seats is always better than...shrinkage.

I agree, I too would be thrilled by a large A-330 or 777 or 747-8 order...thrilled, but I would also not be bummed by growth at the mainline in any form.

Again, growing small is not growing big. We should shoot for growing big.
Verrrrryy shortsighted Buzz. We need to grow on both ends and the middle. Control whether you fly it by how you bid, NOT how you vote.

I'd venture to say that expressjet and Asa had the highest numbers of new hires with NWA/DAL than any other groups fwiw.

I thought this post might prove instructive as we begin to get into negotiations.

That was ten months ago. The grooming guide was such a farce that it had to be mocked. The mistake was the author was named on the board and EY used that as an excuse to go after all posters on Pprune. They do not like ANY negative comments posted as it affects recruitment so Internet Brands, the owner of Pprune, was threatened with legal action and they rolled over and divulged the identities of all the posters EY thought had been a thorn in their side.
Nobody was fired, a few were called in for "tea and biscuits" with the chief pilot, warned and made to apologize. The implied threat made all active EY posters be really leery about Pprune so most stopped posting and those who kept on toned down their posts, a good source of information is no longer available. I was a regular poster but only posted factual, or what I though to be factual, information, both pro and con. I also answered many PM's about working here, which all in all is not a bad place. However Pprune is no longer a source for us to exercise due diligence when trying to decide where to work.

Internet Brands also owns APC and there is nothing to stop for e.g. Delta, Fedex, CAL etc from threatening IB with legal action, and you can bet they will not hesitate to hand over any of your email address and or identities.

If "they" don't already know who the major players are on here, I'd be very surprised.

Scambo,

I am for that as long as we incorporate this into our hiring selection process:
