My biggest curiosity if we recaptured scope, would be to see how many CRJ-900s and EMB-175s we keep. Are they really any good or just really convenient?

BTW...

A 744 operated domestically is 1 blip, 2 pilots. A 737-900 will be 1 blip, 2 pilots. Same with an MD-88. Same with the CRJ-900, EMB-175 and even the Dash 8-300.

A blip is a blip is a blip, blip, blip. Lets blippin' get these blips blipping here, IF, they're going to blippin' blip at all.

Try Connolly's. Great late night menu. Go with the boneless buffalo wings, stacked pretty high. Decent manhattan prices and a block from hotel.

Thx, ended up at connolloy's...was there at the time of typing ;) Their kitchen closes at midnight, so I walked to the OTHER Connolloy's nr 6th that was "open until 1am", they had closed their kitchen early... Ended up grabbing a 24 hr McD after some Guinness. Still, I was surprised how weak the "city that never sleeps" was on a Saturday night at midnight as far as food goes.

There's a great pizza place just east of Grand Central Station. Maybe Lexington and E43, somewhere in that area, 24 hour by the slice and really good.

Good to know!

As an ex-Dash Driver, I really thank you for giving that amazing piece of equipment a shout out. I'd hit it, as well.

Hey guys,

Next time you operate into DTW, make sure you subtract two feet off of the field elevation. I just lowered it for you.

Buzz,

I do not want to start a military vs civilian fight. You are a stud. Your book is great. BUT!!! As a civilian I would've preferred to be hired by Delta as an rj pilot instead of working at a regional forever. I and thousands of regional pilots were horrified at the erosion of our earnings potential when we got the rj's. We all hoped to rid ourselves of noisy, hot, smelly turboprops and enjoy the glorious dc9 or those shiny new canadairs at a mainline carrier. Unfortunately the rj's went to the grossly underpaid regionals. I enjoyed seniority and growth while watching my friends a few months senior to me get furloughed from every major carrier. My app with fresh wet ink was tossed aside for 7 more years. Delta eventually emerged from bankruptcy and now I'm here. ANY PLANE FLOWN BY DELTA MAINLINE PILOTS IS BENEFICIAL TO ALL ON OUR SENIORITY LIST!! I want growth on both ends of the spectrum. Carl needs the 747-800 and we need to get the dc9 replacement jets on our list.

Respectfully,

Hoserpilot

Holy crap!! Buzz, look at the numbers on the post above me!!! See our 88's vs the 900/e175...... This totally emphasizes my point. Btw, I'm a west coast guy living in an Atlanta house...ugh. Beer on me if we ever meet.

Hey Hoser et al,

I get it. I was wrong and cab now see the benefits. I stand corrected.

And beer's on me when we meet!

I think Ferd's got a free round ready at his place. He'll be glad to do it... he was getting worried about the furniture.

Glad to see you back on the Path of the Righteous. ;)
