Delta looks good on a resume. Most here would have little trouble being hired elsewhere.

We will need to look at the numbers in this "production balance" as well as the possibility that ALPA would enforce it. Our history is that we use scope violations to negotiate.

An airplane with 757 CASM is a 757 replacement, irregardless of its size.

Two very important points bolded above.

The MEC is not going to sell scope for pay. I have had every rep reaffirm that. What we will see is if there are any changes within section 1, they will be for improvements within that section. Ie scope apparently has been negotiated independtly of the rest of the contract.

you know the more google images searches you do, the more stuff you accidentally find, the more you lose faith in humanity.

It's like reading the news.

Then you find something that gives you hope, that the world will be okay.

I think any rational person would realize if the MEC sold out on scope that it would be the end of DALPA, thus, chances are the MEC won't do that.

I think the real fear is that if the MEC did sell out on scope that we'd have pilots pass it.

Pass it because they want money or because the MEC passed it. Either way, it's something to fear.

80kts as a kid doesn't explain the guy with his pants off in the background! My favorite of the pictures was the kid dressed up holding a sewing machine and UPS truck in the ditch in the background. This thing just auto edited my abbreviation for What The Fudge. I'm not sure why
