Off subject question about the Blue Angels and I can't seem to find this on google.
Recently I saw them practice but it was with ceilings restricting their vertical stuff. What I noticed was there were sizable periods, especially relative to the quick stuff at the beginning and the interim solo acts, when nothing went on and they were not in sight. They all disappeared. Now that could be a practice thing but I kind of remember seeing this at an air show once too. So I was wondering, during those parts of their performance where they'd done a vertical maneuver do they just disappear for the allotted time? Or do they fill in the vertical parts with another maneuver? |
My atl rep indicated that 30 dys to vote was doable and I agree. Either it has the goods or not. Don't think it will take me more than a couple of weeks to read, question, think, decide.

I just hope the 717 deal doesn't involve bringing in SWA/AT pilots with the jets. I have a SWA dude in my reserve unit. In a typical cavalier attitude he told me we were saving them by taking their 717s as well as the angry AT guys. |

Yeap.
- Still below SWA rates - More 76 seaters Or, is that what you want it to be so you can be proven right? Cutting off your nose to spite your face leaves an ugly sight. |

I highly doubt RA would accept a deal that required pilots coming with the jets. He is lucky the first SLI went so smooth. I doubt he'll roll those dice again. JMO

So, who will be the first APCer to dig out and share the details. I know perhaps a couple guys have their hands tied, but somewhere out there is the squadron scronger. The guy that's always dialed in and can produce anything you need.
The intel network is alive and well. I think I hear morse code in the background. Good job on predicting the TA this week, but that was almost too easy. TC |

I hope so. And we should do whatever we can from our end to insure not one single pilot comes with those planes. That would be insane to take pilots just so they can sport bid and hope for a relative windfall even though they have 100% equipment replacement on the way.
Reading the Chairman's letter, it sounds like the MEC will give it a thumbs up or down in a day or two, then it'll be posted while the reps are brought up to speed. The whole process is expedited, not just the negotiations. I personally won't need more than a week to figure out whether it's a deal worth voting for or not. |

Little pessimistic today? You seen the actual document or are you channeling Hockeypilot and Gloopy?
As for being able to say "see I told you so" that's not something I want to do. I would LOVE to be able to say "omg guys, I was so wrong!" Sadly I won't get to say that. The TA will contain a 76 seat scope sale. Wait for it. |

Funny when I posted on here that I did not see myself voting yes based on the negotiations update no one accused me of working for the company or DALPA!!!!
Im not sure I even understand your response as it relates to my post. But, since there is a TA now, the issue is dead. But, for the record, I'll stand by my position; for you to release what you say were results from our ALPA survey on a public forum is questionable at best. I won't get into what's worse. |
