I got the same email because I didnt see the note that said to put all flight training in (duh!). I put my PPL, ATP, and all military formal flight training courses. I got the email to interview about a week later. Good luck.

I thought the SSP thing was ridiculous but it was a carrot and did get the folks at 9E an interview (which I understand was pared down to 1 day). Some feel these are the golden children as many on the outside would kill for the chance for an interview. Now a "newer, more golden" child comes into play. They still have to pass an interview as well. Now the original golden child feels chided. When does it all end?

Is it though?
Would it be worth significant concessions to get?
ASA had a phenominally high rate of "to Delta" for a long time, and I'm sure some of that inertia still remains. Would anyone there vote for Pinnacle concessions for an SSP style interview system?

"Don Bornhorst, Delta’s senior vice president in charge of commuter airline affiliates, said this is an advantage because Endeavor will attract career-focused pilots. Delta will benefit from the future employment of pilots who have a clear understanding of the Delta brand, he added."
Hahaha, saying this as a current 9E pilot at your SSP interview, is the fastest way to be shown the door.

It is kinda the sort of understanding I have with the Comcast brand.

If you don't get hired Delta (or any other airline) isn't going to tell you why. I got hired in 2001 without any moving violations. They will also check, so if you are dishonest, you won't get the job. Best advice is be yourself, be honest, and show that you've learned from mistakes. No one is perfect, so if you project that way it will come across as dishonest also. Good luck to all who are interviewing, and to those who want to work here, don't worry if you've not gotten called yet. The process has only just begun for what is hopefully a years long hiring spree!
How on earth could Delta [or any airline...] discover you had a speeding/moving violation ticket 20-35yrs ago when it was never on a DMV record to begin with [assuming traffic school]? Is a lie detector test part of the interview?
And yes, I would assume NO tickets over 35yrs would be a bit preposterous for most of us. Although I do know a few people who have zero.
