Did the check airman get an opportunity to interview at Delta? Did he/she put months of preparation in for this interview opportunity that was negotiated for him/her? Was he/she successful?

Not that I'm in favor of this, but the woe is me could get tiring.

Doesn't matter. This rediculous scheme creates a massive internal dividing line of, like the other poster said, "golden children" and that will not bode well for their already barely keeping it together operation. This will do nothing to address the core problem and many things to make it worse.

I know and agree. I thought the SSP thing was ridiculous but it was a carrot and did get the folks at 9E an interview (which I understand was pared down to 1 day). Some feel these are the golden children as many on the outside would kill for the chance for an interview. Now a "newer, more golden" child comes into play. They still have to pass an interview as well. Now the original golden child feels chided. When does it all end?

Despite the merits of the program, if at 9E and wanting to be at Delta, start preparing now and kick a$$ when you are given the opportunity to interview. I know that's where my energy would be placed.

Of course give it your best is sound advice. But they should also do everything they can possibly do to leave Pinnacle ASAMFP for any potential greener pasture.

This EtP thing is pathetic. It misdiagnoses a problem that was 100% management caused and writes a prescription to make it worse. At least they gave themselves an out clause, so you gotta give them credit for that.

I am not sure that is correct. I think the agreement was to interview 35%, but I could be wrong. They're not gonna hire 35% if they cannot find enough quality applicants just to satisfy that particular item, and frankly I don't want them to, any more than I would want them to be contractually required to hire 35% Air Force pilots.

Absolutely! Every Endeavor pilot will have their shot via the SSP, if they want it, before any EtD pilot sees his/her name on the Delta Pilot Seniority List. I would be preparing my arse off for that opportunity and applying to other majors as well to try to get out of there.

It's 35% of positions in new-hire classes T, not interviews. Section 1 D.11.

This percentage is applicable for ALPA represented airmen at Delta Connection Carriers only. The Compass and Mesaba flow pilots count towards the 35%. The company also has an out that meeting the requirement is subject to the candidates meeting the company's competitive hiring standards and the company's objectives for diversity and experience among newly hired pilots.

I received a "fix it" email from Delta asking me to show my flight training. I attended Naval Flight training and have that listed in my "education history". I don't see any other areas of the application to list flight training. Anybody have any ideas?
Thanks

When I got a similar fix-it email, I added every training I ever did into the education section -- initial, instructor, evaluator, requal, etc (retiring AF). I had flown C-130, C-21 and C-32 -- threw them all on there (9 courses total). Best of luck! Hopefully you get the call soon. I got called (emailed) about 3 weeks later, back in Jan.
