daldude the latest memo says that they still intend to fill the initially projected 717 and new 737 positions. Maybe even increasing the amount. If these ER FOs were to fill those why would the next AE have mainly CA vacancies? Also last AE had a whopping 1 ATL 717 awarded and maybe 3 DTW 737. Again if these displacements were intended to fund those positions why did they not fill them the last round? I think it is to leave them open for people like myself.

And that they plan to fill these with additional displacements off of the 7ER. How do I know that they are not going to use new hires? Because we are not hiring, they do not have approval to hire, they have a system wide surplus of pilots and that with the last bid they felt they would be properly staff for the peak month of 2014 with ironically they think will be March. I am not making this stuff up it is in black and white directly from crew resources.
With that said I have no doubt that they will hire some day but at this time they continue to say they don't need to. Some day they will say we need to hire and then everybody can say told you so. But as of today they have not hinted at that and continue to manage expectations with there various Crew resource letters.
I'm sure you will be hired so don't fret, I'm just bitter.

This is what I know. Ryan G. CEO of PCL was told by Delta they are going to hire 300 this fall. The reason he needs to know because PCL is getting 12 CRJ-900's and he needs to know how to staff them, with the possibilities of replacing captains that are going to flow and the SSP program. Take it for what it's worth.

I thought you were furloughing half your list and needed to take a 25% pay cut.
What's the truth?
What's it matter? As a Type Rated FO, the only skill required was to taxi a sim 4 feet in a straight line... ding, winner winner chicken dinner, SIC restriction removed.

I'm assuming that Pinnacle (Endeavor) has the Delta testing. Compass does have the Delta testing and has had it since we were wholly owned. That is a main pillar of our guaranteed interview agreement with Delta.
