How long ago were you hired is the real question? I have a buddy that got hired with a 2.8 GPA but that was several years ago when they didn't have 10,000 applications. He even said himself that he doesn't think he would get called today if he were to apply. May how times have changed.

An SEC 2.7 is like a Big Ten 4.0 though.

So my point is that all things being equal if you have 6000 plus hours and 4000 TPIC time then the only thing that can separate 100's of guys with these credentials is their GPA.

For sure. Where you went school, what degree you got in school, how long it took you to get the degree and your GPA are heavily weighted items.

No angst, just waiting for my turn one of these days. Can't change the past and just hope it brings a bright future one day.
