If Compass holds them for 60 days, they'll be in class by March. If Compass holds them for 90 days, those guys won't be on property until April. Either way...I agree it's a long, slow road for any off the street hire. Word is...guys interviewing last week were told to expect an August class. I don't see how that's possible.
So a class of 60 (hypothetical, latest intel saying 30)
20 CP
9 XJ
10 SSP
21 OTS
The January CPZ class was not back filled, and it is looking less and less like the February one will be either.

I hate to err on the side of optimism, but unless the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing the fact that they now have more than 170 OTS swimming and are continuing to interview 3x per week leads me to believe that there must be an increase coming.

After all the Compass flows leave, the then current Compass guys are offered an interview after 3 years of service among other things. Would that number be apart of the "off the street" number or is Delta reserving some class spots for the preferential interviews from Compass/Pinnacle/etc?
Hope that makes sense.
Thanks

The earliest we will see the end of the CPZ flows due to metering limits is most likely 2018 (as long as the flow agreement which is really between DL management and DALPA remains, which it probably will).
Any CPZ pilots that get hired after that will do so through the regular interview process, regardless of if their interview is a preferentially granted one or an off the street cold call. Those numbers will count towards the DCI ALPA 35% threshold in the DALPA contract. If you're asking if DL is planning on taking all the flows along with any statistically significant number of "off the street" CPZ pilots while the flow is continuing, I'd say that would be possible but very, very, very rare. That probably doesn't answer your question but I wasn't sure what you were asking anyway.

Not sure what you're asking.
