Last four from high to low:

21 B. 2. Seniority numbers will be assigned to individuals on the first day of their new-hire training in the following order:
a. Company transferees will be assigned the lowest seniority numbers within the class, in order of their most recent date of employment with the Company, then
b. New-hires will be assigned seniority numbers on the basis of the last four digits of each individual’s social security number. Individuals with the higher numbers will be assigned the lowest seniority numbers.
Note: New-hires with identical last four digits of their social security numbers, and transferees with identical employment dates, will determine their relative placement by drawing numbers.

A couple questions on uniforms for budgeting purposes. Are there any specifics on shoe choices? Plain toe only? Also, I heard a while back that they payroll deduct uniform purchases over the first year. Is that correct?

They will let you payroll deduct uniform purchases. The shoe choices have been relaxed, I can't quote the verbiage exactly, but if you have non wingtip black shoes, you are probably on the right track...more conservative is better for probation in case you get a long sleever.

If you are based in the northern climes, I suggest a pair of these. I just ordered them as I flew with an FO wearing them. They were 10 years old and the soles looked almost unworn. Ariat International | Heritage Roper

Thanks. I've heard good things about m&h. Has anyone had a bad experience there?

In a similar note, any idea from you guys how long it would take to bid and hold ATL on Junior iron for a newb? I'm guessing as more guys come in behind me it should be easier?
You should be able to get to ATL fairly quick as long as you get the 717 or M88 as your assignment. Remember you have a 1 year equipment lock.

If you get the 320, 73N, or 7ER I would imagine it would be a little more difficult to get ATL in short order.

I've been wearing these for years and can attest to their durability. They are also very airport friendly, they do not have steel shanks.

The only thing I'd add is if you fly international a lot and take off your shoes during break, they can be a little tough to get back on if you do not plan for it.

I think there was one limitation and like 3 boldface that my 8 year old could memorize in 10 seconds so I had those down. No LOD at the time on that fleet so I didn't look at a single thing. Best training cycle I have ever been through in my life. Now we have screwed that program up though so who knows how it is now.
it has changed quite a bit since then. I had the same experience as you, but now they want you to know everything when you show up it seems like. I've been through 3 other training programs since NATCO and it's definitely skewed toward the pilot teaching himself nearly everything before showing up. It's sad really

Rutro Denny, I didn't think about the 8 hour swell. They are on the way, I guess I'll sleep with my boots on.

Default latest spreadsheet info

I am picking up the conch from MikefromMT for spreadsheet management. Giving this a try to see if I can post the spreadsheet here. No real changes from the last iteration.

If you have info or changes, PM me. Cheers.
