Details on Delta TA

Can you be a bit more specific. 135+ Compass guys flowed this year. Was it 2 guys or like 40 guys?
I know it does not matter to many south guys which is the majority on the forum but all Compass guys had 2 747 NWA Captains and a HR rep along with a 727 Sim ride with a NWA captain running the box. We did not do the Delta interview but that does not make us any less of a pilot

Oberon.....As a another flow pilot like yourself, please get off the high horse and realize you're a new hire, and that right now your "dog in the fight" is nothing more than a chihuahua against a pit bull. Your views cast a bad impression on the rest of us who are happy to be here, do not get into arguments over things we cannot control, and do not feel entitled. How about you wait until probie is over before rattling the cages? YOURE A NEW HIRE...don't forget it.

* "Restoration" has been pretty loosely defined. To their credit Carl says his goal is 38% on day one and MD88Driver says his goal is 25%. For what it's worth, I think those numbers might be possible but I get shouted down every time I ask for details on how to get there.

I am a new hire and haven't forgotten. I've said nothing on this thread I believe will affect my prospects at Delta on probation or not. I haven't attacked any of my coworkers despite being routinely attacked and my views aren't particularly controversial outside of the APC Delta C2015 thread. Certainly not everyone agrees with what I say but my views hardly warrant personal attacks.

Some of us take very seriously the loss of $1 million and leaving the mechanism that caused that loss (primarily draconian pay cuts) in place going forward. You might want to think about that if you really want to understand why your comments are considered controversial by some.

You are painting a picture of me that isn't accurate. I don't feel entitled to anything and am very happy at Delta. I have argued about things I can't control so I won't say I haven't but I haven't implied that my views belong to anyone but me.

I've never said restoration is impossible. I've said you can't get there* by saying "restoration".

I added Oberon the other day. A guy who didn't even interview here lecturing us about stuff he knows nothing about. So I pulled the plug. It's working out great.

You are entitled to your opinions, I'm not disputing that fact. But charging after others right out of the gate is A) tactless and B) harmful to the reputations of others who were part of the flow program. Whether you like it or not, there's already a reputation for compass people at delta that started in 2010. While personally I don't think it's an accurate representation of 99% of us, your commitment to pushing the envelope with people who have lost more $$ than you can understand only proves our stereotype. No offense but as a new person, the ground you stand on is not more than a dust pile. Again, you have your rights to an opinion, but remember you are part of a bigger group. You're a "compass flow", tread lightly (at least for a while). I'm calling you out because I'm tired of having to defend our existence here as being something more than just a loophole in the system. Please don't bring the fire to the rest of us. Ok rant over back to the thread....
I'm sure 99% of your guys are top shelf. And 99% in any group is pretty damn good. Beers on me over in NRT.
