I was former 9E and have a lot of friends there, why do you care so much that I care? I just don’t like when people say things that aren’t credible and when they try they don’t back there statements up…because the union said so isn’t factual
you act like your in the know and you aren’t…you pop your head on our boards and do the same. No credibility over there either…

The CAP program is creditable. I trust my MEC when they say a flow/career advancement program was about to be inked.

Delta is supposed to offer class dates for August, September, and October, for the first 60 pilots. The first class will obviously go, because they will have seniority numbers prior to the arbitration decision. The next two classes could be canceled if the arbitrator specifically says they can't go. However, I don't think that is going to happen, so the first 60 pilots are probably going to flow after their 3 month hold back. After that, if the flow is canceled, the rest of the pilots are SOL.

That being said, the CAP was the deal we are about to have before covid. But it was far from a done deal. And it's likely the deal we will get for new hires if the flow holds up. At least that's what our DO said

Widely believed by the pilots, is what he must be getting at.
Truth is if delta and deltaalpa don't find an agreement together and prove we are adults, the arbitrator will probably honk us both a little bit. Both sides are acting like tough guys right now, my guess is the arbitrator is trying to figure out what it's going to take short of knocking our heads together to move forward. This is just a guess
I don't know what managements deal is, this seems like a clear violation to me, trying to sharp shoot our contract and ignoring intent and past practice. They probably have a point too but i fail to see it. Im surprised the arbitrator didnt hint to Delta to get it's head screwed on straight, but seeing as how they didn't, he's probably looking for us both to give a little.

I mean .. They might. We don't really know what arbitration will result in. The real question is what happens to the loa if the arbitrator rules in a compromise. My guess is the loa becomes void since it's not entirely enforceable
