Got it, thanks. I have a class date with Endeavor, but it is not until March. I was hoping I would be able to move up to an earlier date, but I also have a class date with 2 other regionals in October and December. Endeavor is my #1 and I'd like to wait, but March is a long way away.

So in that instance how do you deal with your outstanding class dates with the other 2 regionals if you are fortunate and your endeavor class date is moved up?
cancel or push them out till you're done with ioe?

I've heard of people leaving a regional once they get their type rating, but I don't know that I'm one comfortable leaving once I start. We are in such a crazy time, and who knows what's going to happen come winter with this delta variant. I know no one knows how the next few months are going to play out with hiring at the majors either, but I want to position myself with a company that has a base I can live in, has sustainability (if that even exists at a regional), and is a good fit for my family. Endeavor has a base I could live in (close to CVG), being owned by Delta helps, and great benefits for my family (married w/3 kids). I can't see endeavor moving my class date up to at least January, but I've seen crazier things. The other 2 offers I have currently I would have to commute. Interviews with PSA and republic next week. PSA has DAY and republic CMH which are all driveable for me and both have class dates still in 2021.

It's quite tricky in your situation and it's always best to live in base. Well it's always good to have all cards on deck so it's easy to cancel the other ones not favorable.
Really appreciate your response👍

Just be careful leaving while you're still on probation. The automatic assumption with resignation during training is that you were asked to resign because you were flunking out. The automatic assumption with resignation during probation is that you were asked to leave because you couldn't hack it as an FO.

if you resign it doesn’t go on PRIA, only termination does, so it’s not really as big a deal as it seems. It’ll definitely Be asked about in an interview with a major, LCC, or your next flying job potentially, but if it’s for personal reasons and you can explain that it won’t be a negative…

Delta specifically asks this now on their application. They ask if you resigned instead of termination. This is all in response to the atlas accident in IAH. The FO didn’t report a few regionals he quit.

"Doesn't go on PRIA" is not accurate.
It CAN go on your PRIA if the previous employer wants it to be in PRIA. And sometimes a termination does not go on your PRIA.
Per the FAA AC about PRIA, it must include disciplinary actions (such as a termination) if it relates to your performance as a pilot. But nothing prohibits employer for including it for non-piloting discipline.
So for example, if you are terminated for a social media violation, it is not required in your PRIA records. You just have to explain why the previous employer says "no" as eligible for rehire. But it can be there, if the employer wants it to be there.
Some employers now include "resignation in lieu of termination" for training washouts which is a kiss of death if it also attaches to reported training difficulties.

If you quit during your first year and it results in a gap in employment, its almost impossible to explain that one away, PRIA or no PRIA hits. After the Atlas crash, they are super vigilant about these, because you can be asked to resign during probation for multiple reasons that will result in a clean PRIA.

The arbitration is due out soon, so the flow is not set in stone. However, 40 pilots have received their class dates to Delta, and will flow.
