The first 20 are August flows. They'll start training in November.

We have about 1850 pilots eligible for the flow, the flow is 20/month. The variable is how many above you will wait for flow or jump ship for another airline. The other variables are does the flow exist and does the company exist by the time you are eligible.

I'd go to one of the AA wholly owned regionals. They're giving $150,000 in bonuses. We aren't.

It is not yet available to new hires. Only people on the list at dos. Most junior guys on the list, 7.5 years ish. But that's assuming zero outside attrition. With 25% attrition it could be around 5.5 years.

Company and union guys have been quoted saying they want to get the flow number up. Which would speed it up, but also reduce attrition. So I'm not entirely convinced it would truly speed it up that much. Especially if they also tie in attrition bonuses that the company wants to do. Negotiations ongoing... But yea, I'd go elsewhere right now. That would help us out greatly

If you weren't here before June, then as long as it takes you to apply, be offered an off the street interview and pass. No preferential treatment for people hired after June 2021...

Don’t they still get the DGI?

No DGI until every single flow-eligible pilot either flows or declines. That said, negotiations are ongoing so hopefully something comes through soon to help attract and retain pilots. Seems like the COVID backup of applicants gave them a false sense of security when classes were full until May. But those are about to dry up real quick

Yep. DGI is technically still in place, but it's so far off that it really shouldn't even be on anyone's mind. There's really not much reason to come here. New hires don't get a flow, we're no longer the highest paid, and QOL is really going in the sh***er the last couple of months...

*sigh* DGI is non-contractual.
