Any "Latest & Greatest" about Endeavor?
With regard to current negotiations, we should be focused on long-term pay and stability, rather than a converted pay rate that will only provide very short term gains. Our counterparts at the AA wholly owned carriers arguably have a much stronger package and a clear defined path to a career at mainline.
This negotiation is the most crucial in recent history, not only to get back what we lost in Bankruptcy, but to solidify a future for our pilots at mainline. It is time to band together as a pilot group and be heard clearly by management and our union. This is THE TIME to attain flow and we are closer than ever at doing so. We have worked very hard at taking care of our customers, providing solid performance metrics and holding ourselves to a high professional standard.
Introducing the lanyard... this lanyard is a statement to our company and union that expresses our bottom line as a group. Simply, No flow=vote no. Remember, all of us have a job at AA in 5-7 years.

I couldn't disagree more. Time is on our side. We need to get the pay rates converted and establish a baseline then we can work up from there. And while a flow has its benefits, it's not a do or die item for me. Plus that lanyard wouldn't be approved. I believe the only authorized lanyards are company , alpa, airplane, or engine manufacturers. Now they are pretty lenient on that stuff currently but I doubt they would stay that way if everyone started wearing those lanyards. Also playing hardball like that is never going to fly with Delta. If we take a hostile/ combative stance on this issue I see nothing but problems going foward. I think you would see delta burn us down and **** on the ashes. For a flow to happens, they have to believe in it, not feel pressured into it.

I don't think we're get a flow until Delta starts feeling hiring pinches, and that's not going to happen anytime soon. However, I agree that we need something better than the dgi to try and sell new hires. We're not going to keep filling classes for long, unless he have something more to sell.

We have a very slim chance of negotiating a DAL flow.
Delta pilots don't want us to have one.
Delta mgt doesn't want us to have one.
Delta would Comair us before they would let us dictate
to them a flow. Though that might be your motive???
Cant wait to see which tools wear this. Go get a college degree and get yourself a mainline job. I fly with dudes that have way to many excuses of why they are still here. I've been here along enough to know a handful of great people got turned down at Delta especially the first group to interview. The rest of you have nothing but excuses. I ask guys all the time have you gone to a career fair? Well no.... , you want to work at United? Oh when's the last time you updated your app? Oh well last year. The only obstacle in life is yourself. This flow thing is a joke. It's Delta Air Lines.

American pays more, their bases are better, they fly bigger airplanes, and you don't have to wear a hat.
