Delta confirmed it will use its first Bombardier C Series narrowbodies scheduled for delivery next year on high-value routes now served by large regional jets as well as for new markets that fit the 100-seater’s profile.

“For high-demand, 76-seat, long-range RJ markets…that will probably be the first selection” for new C Series twinjets, Delta President Glen Hauenstein said.

Delta plans to base the first C Series in New York,” he added. “I won't tell you where it's going to go, but it will start in New York.”
It fits the narrative. CS100 bumps CR9 down to the flying thats CR2. CR2 moves to ATL/DTW.

CS100 will replace a combination of CRJ900 and EMB175 "top tier" flying and open up longer range flying that the current aircraft cannot support.

The 900's will then replace the 200's in those markets.

Republic and/or GoJets CPA's will be wound up and airframes moved to 9E.

I don't know about Republic. Maybe you meant Compass?

This sounds like a stretch. Not the GJ part. That I get... But not republic.

Yes, Republic has some slots DAL still uses. Compass, and GoJet however, I think are likely done for DCI, since DAL needs to send those frames to Skywest to get rid of 50 seater contracts. By 2020ish, DCI will be 9E, RAH, SKYW, that's it.

That is your fault. As a CA, you are a primary trainer and a mentor. If you fail to do that, collectively, then expect a FO group that doesn't come to the plane with better skills.

No No No. Republic will be a major player and a powerhouse in the regional market for years to come. In fact, their diversity has literally won the cash flow of all three legacies exiting bankruptcy. In fact, the big 3 own republic's assets in thirds. I just can't see a single reason why they would be on the way out. Short of the big 3 splitting the planes three ways, keeping them around is a cheap way to fly excellent aircraft.

I'm guessing this will be the case by EOY 2018.
