Is it true that pilots returning to EDV go back to their original seniority? I balked when I was originally told this...

Longevity yes, if within a certain amount of time. Seniority - no.

Did you sell your PRM? Those are nice. Though I haven't spent much time in the new company system manuals, I've heard they're much improved.

Actually yes, but only for a select few. It was part of an agreement for people to leave voluntarily during the rough times. They have to return within seven years of leaving in order to retain their seniority and longevity.

I’m pretty sure that seniority was not reinstated. Just longevity.

Hey guys! Just out of curiosity, is there any logic to how reserves are given flight assignments? It seems mostly random.

Wrong. Seniority was also reinstated for those that were convinced to leave voluntarily during bankruptcy and returned within 7 years. I know one guy personally that came back a month ago. He currently holds 900 captain in our most senior base. Explain how that is possible without retained seniority..
