They can bid whatever they’d like. Not everyone likes to be chained fo their couch all day.

LCR’s are still first out correct? I remember always getting used on LCR.

On a side note.. I really hope we see a change regarding our overnights. The 20 hour minumum is a mistake. Needs to be 18 minimum for downtown.

That’s what the union says about LCR. Will be interesting to see if that holds true. On the FO 900 side it seems the only way to be used is when you’re flagged for consolidation of knowledge or there’s an epic irop...

And I agree. 16 hours seems to be industry standard...

Not sure this will be true. Relatively close commuters maybe...

As it's currently written, I believe it's a 12 hour call out regardless of report time.

I.E. 8pm call on Tuesday night for 8am report Wednesday morning. In many cases, 8pm is either past the last flight of the night into the hub or darn close considering you need to grab your bag and be out the door and at the airport before that last flight and could likely be before the first flight in the AM will get you into the hub.

Especially true if you commute across timezones where you lose time into the hub.

So LCR as currently written is probably best for something like Boston commuters into NYC. For that, it's great.

For something like a MEM to ATL commuter, not so much.

Make it 15, I say.

Had a long sit the other day. 4:28 to be exact. CS would not budge on a day room. Has to be 4:30 or they get in trouble, or so I was told.

15-16 would be amazing. Seems to be the meaty part of the bell curve with average overnights. 20 hours and plus are hard to come by.

It was a starting point, with possibility of lowering it in future negotiations.

In need of a crashpad in LGA. Looking for about $300 a month. Any recommendations or know of any openings?

PM with any info. Thanks.

It would be nice if LCR was a little longer of a call out than 12 hours. 24 would be wonderful, but 16 would be doable for many. I’m in the same boat where if I was called at 7pm for a 7am show, I’d have to get in my car and drive through the night. But a 7pm phone call for a 11am show is doable. Do any other companies use a longer window?
