How long do you have to report to duty on short call reserve in DTW? Are reserve FOs getting used a lot?

1:45 and no not really, but maybe more than nyc. Expect to be used about half your reserve days on reserve on the 900 fo side, maybe more on the 200 *at this moment in time*. All this changes day by day, week by week and month by month. Reserve won’t be long with the hiring taking place now so don’t sweat it.

Good overnights: GNV BQK EWN AGS GTR are some of the good ones out of ATL. TYS and ILM aren’t too bad either in terms of food. BTV is cool if they bring you downtown. CWA is nice. And it’s been a long time but CLT and CMH were cool a couple years ago.

It’s constantly changing though so what’s good now may get a hotel change or we stop doing those overnights all together. The contract requirement for a downtown location on long overnights is a good plus if you get any of the 30hr overnights.

Maybe it’s the summer schedule but I have had several 20-21 hour downtown overnights on 3-4 days lately.

Yes it's possible. It's very possible to clear 80k as an fo year 2-3.

E-Mail from union says 9 resignations in June (0 to Delta). Much lower than previous months. Again, SSP winding-down I believe.

As ninerdriver said, DAL hiring stopped temporarily so there was zero movement to there, I wouldn't take June to really indicate anything. The numbers aren't due to SSP so much as that.

Hey y'all. How long are the legs on the 200 on average? I mean block time wise.

Relatively short. The 200 is limited to 600 miles by DL if I remember correctly. Most of the legs are like JFK-BWI and the like.

We lost some of the nice ATL flying for the time being because Expressfail got to finish in ATL instead of NYC like they were supposed to. So we got stuck with more crappy LGA flying. Hopefully they're done sooner than later and we get that ATL flying back.
