The flow will never happen, in fact, I could see 9E being sold to Skywest or RAH in the near future instead to adjust regional contracts in lieu of the new Delta TA.

I'm a little shocked that posters on here think guys who didnt get the ssp didn't or won't work hard for the job. That's concerning to me. I may have got the ssp but there were hard working guys even in my group that got a soft no or the FOAD no.

If you fly with coworkers and you think 80% of them are garbage that dont belong in mainline, then you're a Delta hr person. The first waves of the ssp, before extending it to FOs to save this company gave no's to 80% of our pilots. I just cant get onboard with that thinking. Our guys arent 80% garbage.

Employers want to pay their employees the least possible, part of that is making said employee feel like they are part of an exclusive club. Even with these new contracts around the industry, pilot purchasing power is the lowest it's been in history. Hell, my current pay, even with the bonus, is far below the pay an equivalent pilot with my longevity would have made at XJ when I got hired years ago. A 76 seat jet under the 2004 XJ contract would pay close to $130 hr, not $87, and that was in 2004. Mainline pilots are just getting back to 1990's rates, with bad medical benefits, no pension, less days off, more flying hours, one less pilot in the cockpit, and less employee benefits. All the while mainline revenue is up 400%, along with executive pay.

I'm not saying most of the Endeavor guys don't work hard... Most work very hard. I'm saying many don't like the Delta attitude and don't want to be a part of it. It didn't help that the union sold the SSP to everyone as a meet and greet with a class date and that clearly turned out to be false. There may well have been a lot less yes votes for the bankruptcy concessions had the SSP been properly described.

Folks, DAL is SERIOUSLY against ever having a flow. Get used to it. Study, prepare, and move up if that is your goal.
What a bunch of turds...I studied hard, prepared..all the things you mentioned and I got the re apply in 12 months bs...they told me to go to another airline...yet in the latest "ask ED anything" he clearly states Endeavor is part of the Delta family. That is such crap.

Don't get me wrong. I own it. I could have done better in the HR. But to tell me I am not worthy of a mainline job at Delta and then I turn around and fly a delta owned aircraft with delta passengers onboard is a load of crap. I still want to work at delta one day, but I doubt now this will ever happen. Delta lost out on a great person and asset. Maybe United will want me soon..who knows. The SSP was great for some and even worse for many more.

Give me one good reason why someone one would pick Endeavor over Envoy. At least American will flow their own people. Lack of loyalty on Deltas part if you ask me.

Don't pick us, go to envoy. That way they'll up the pay that much more here.

So you have a 4 year degree, TPIC, and you've been flying Delta's passengers under the Delta brand for a number of years... Your time comes and you study hard and prepare for your Delta interview but you are told "thanks but no thanks, try again in a year".

So that leaves United because American is barely hiring off the street, and most of those are military. And how many other pilots are you now competing with for a shot at a United interview? Let alone a job? Seems silly that Delta would treat it's regional pilots like this.

There is but one thing Delta cares about, money. Anything other than money is secondary.
