What I don't understand is it seems that outside of being from the military everyone else seems to be equal. Whereas American seems to value someone flying their brand. The cultures between American and Delta on hiring and flow are completely different, yet both are very good airlines.
Yes, American has a very welcoming culture to flows, Delta, not so much.

Mainline wages at a regional? Are you joking? The new payscale at Delta will top 350/hr plus profit sharing. Regional captains make a little over 100k where Mainline make 250-400k. Not even in the same ballpark. Fo payrates diverge even greater. Guys who weren't interested in the SSP potentially lost millions.

Maybe if they had more of a welcoming interview. Disloyalty on Deltas part I guess.

As a former Eagle guy it's funny to hear someone say AA is welcoming to flows. Most definitely NOT the case 15 years ago. My how the times have changed.

So how can one grade an airline on a program it doesn't have? You can't count Compass or Endeavor because those programs were not true flows like Envoy to AA.

Or...is your point AA is more open to the idea of a pure flow unlike Delta and United? Either way, Delta has chosen to retain more control over their selection process. I don't necessarily agree it'll stay that way. But as long as the guys in charge think there's thousands banging on or doors to get here, it certainly won't change.

More welcoming? Its a pretty relaxed interview considering what's at stake. And the success rate is fairly good as well. There are some airlines with incredibly "welcoming" interviews that have had historically way lower success rates.

And disloyalty? Come on. The fact that you put it like that implies a sense of entitlement that you deserve to get a high level job in 15 minutes of back slapping, grinning and gripping and a quick check of the ap as a formality. That you were given the opportunity, and I assure you you were treated fairly, is hardly a lack of loyalty.

16-05 vacancy notice just dropped. Lots of NYC 900 and 200 FO positions are open and 10 slots for NYC 200 CA.

Try again. I'm not "Delta material".
