Overhead bin or under seat. We carry security info in that bag, FOM, so I would never planeside check it. (security risk).

There's no way I would planeside check my flight case. There is Security Sensitive Information in that case, and if it were to be lost I'm sure someone could make some trouble for you. Probably not, but still, it is a safer bet to just keep it in the cabin. Also I have expensive sunglasses, headset, and pricey flashlght in my case. THings tend to vaporize around the airport.
FYI the common ettiquette when nonrevving is to let everyone off first before you exit the cabin, unless you can do it quickly without slowing anyone down.

I'm assuming everyone on this SSI roll takes their flight bag out of the flight deck and with them to grab a bite to eat on a 40 minute turn in the same airplane. Because even though it is in a secure area, just like in the cargo hold, even more people than just rampers without a need to know basis would have access to it. Groomers, fuelers, FA's, gate agents etc. What about leaving them in the crew rooms where the janitors can easily access it? Just trying to start a 10 page thread here
