Since the CI function was removed is it company procedure to fly the 250? Since skywest has consistently better customer service numbers than endeavor, Im comfortable saying skywest cares about the passengers and are professional even if they don't smile and nod on the walk ways.

Honestly our SOP is still changing from the CI days. Things are still in motion but as of now 250/290/320 (depending) is the SOP.
Descent has no allowance for 250.
I always nod.
Two pilotsin an AIRPORT, how could you not!
You are my brothers.

I know msp is msp, but it wouldnt kill them to make that 280 thing bigger and bold next to chart name like ord. Ive breezed over it in the past.

And that right there is the problem. There is zero consistency on how speed restrictions are published on the chart. MSP, DTW, NYC - all different.

It's all good the majority that ride the js whether they are mainline, regional, etc. are almost always cordial.
Message boards bring out the "chest thumping" in folks.

What are you talking about? At the beginning of each arrival there is a big box with BOLD print that says "SPEED RESTRICTION"

Can any August or September new hires tell me how long training is taking now days.
I'll be commuting out of DFW. MSP is a very easy for me. But I just want to get a commutable line and upgrade ASAP. What aircraft and base should I shoot for?

I finished IOE in mid September but was one of the last to finish due to a 2 week break in training between ground school and sims. Plan on 3 months from start to the finish of IOE, but likely faster. MSP is super senior with little to no movement and there haven't been many, if any, MSP FO awards given to new hires. If you live in DFW, why not Envoy?

DTW is an easy commute from DFW as well. DL has 4-6 flights daily between them. It also depends on when you get hired. Right now the build up in NYC is still ongoing and all new hires are getting placed there. DTW 200 is moving slowly now but will pick up again after the NYC build up is done. DTW 900 is starting to move faster than the 200 right now. MSP is stone cold slow.
