No they are paying them CA rate 12 months after OE completion. Could be up to 18-20 months after hire date.

A friend of mine FO at Envoy started back towards the end of Sept 2016 last year. Is he elegible for retention bonus for December? If so what amount? Thanks!

Default Great News

A lot of buzz about new pay scales flying around. Exciting times at Envoy for fos and finally captains.

Dacuj might be right for once? Is that possible?

A lot of buzz where? Please tell me from somewhere reliable and not line and schoolhouse rumors. Because the only info I've gotten from a reliable source has indicated no new pay scales until hiring takes a hit.

I wouldn't be surprised either way. I'm keeping my expectations low, however.

My understanding is hiring is taking a hit. People are looking long term beyond the one time signing bonus and no showing classes. The question is, is it big enough?

Good news is Union work is in process.

As a pilot group we must make our voice heard.

Why work here when you can make over 30 grand or more somewhere else doing the exact same thing.

People are not blind, management knows this, just trying to mum it as long as possible. That's why you should contact rep and voice your opinion.

Default Food for thought

I’m happy at Envoy so don’t get me wrong in this post, but thinking from a new hires perspective...

...especially as a commuter.
Why would you come here?

Endeavor is basically offering first year engineering pay. All pay rates (FO and CA) are on “mainline levels.” For the first time in history captains at Endeavor will actually be taking a pay cut to go to mainline.

So why come to Envoy or go anywhere else for that matter? Unless you live in a Envoy, PSA, Peidmont, Skywest etc. base, why would anyone go to any of those places? 60+ % of us commute? 5 year flow has come and gone... a pilot hired today at any AAG whollyown will flow in 8+ years because they are growing all of them and the way the (flow) contracts are written currently today for a new hire coming in, it allows AAG whollyowneds to withhold more pilots at the regional level. It’s a scam. Delta American united jet blue southwest etc are hiring like crazy and it’s only going to be ramped up more. If your a good egg, you will be hired at one of them.

Again I don’t hate my job and life at Envoy, we do have perks. But pay is not one of them...

People will realize this and our class numbers will go down come February/March. Mark my words.

The company saying “well you have flow” is not and will not be good enough. Time for a raise. They are profiting more now thAn they ever have in history, time to reward the people doing the work. Especially the captains, who have been getting pathetic excuses for raises forever.

Amen! Pass the plate, let's pray, and head on over to the pavillion for our covered dish lunch!

I’m curious. If there are pay raises to match ENV, what will happen to the bonuses?

Talk to your Reps. Pay raises are not being discussed. In fact the company told our union not even being considered unless new hire number diminishes drastically.

So anyone thinking about envoy over endeavor, pay raises are not likely.
