If it's a bust, hopefully it's a bust that burns new hire cadets. Company's willingness to come to the table probably has a lot to do with cadets' willingness to come here and fly, and the minute they stop accepting a subpar outfit in exchange for ez DFL slots is the minute Envoy MUST up the ante, or start spending lots of critical coverage bux.

The way I see it is that this union has an opportunity here to garner a lot of needed continued support or to shoot itself in the foot. I’d be willing to bet that there will be recalls discussed if this negotiation breaks down and the ball gets dropped yet again.
I’m cautiously optimistic here. Regardless of what the rates are, pay banding needs to die.
