Haha so original. Funny. Lol. Lulz.

Last regional who was actually sanctioned for safety violations by the FAA was Skywest. So far we are good.

NoValueAviator 06-02-2021 05:38 AM

Wonder why AA no longer wants to sign our checks. Sale coming soon?

Hey, I doubt you enjoyed the name dropping by CNN, so maybe try not to name drop airlines yourself. Anybody with a clue knows every company has its issues, and the CNN report was just some hit job.

Thanks for sharing this. It’s very sad what happened to him. I’m sure his family appreciate this.

Feels like it.

Skywest acquires envoy much like express jet but it’s different this time.

Is it true that another member of the MEC is leaving and off to Atlas?

What I heard is the JE has accepted an offer to be their head of crew scheduling.

It does appear that way.

Doubtful. She won’t leave her beloved Envoy for anything but the grave. Where else could she literally feast on the souls of America’s youth while making their lives pure hell? She wouldn’t have absolute power anywhere else. Plus, I doubt they use DECS and that’s what keeps her useful to Envoy.

How do you become a manager in CS without knowing the first thing about the contract? Puzzling. You'd think over the years of shrieking unprofessionally at pilots who ask for an escalation about minutiae she'd pick something up.

Her hatred of pilots is what keeps her employed. The poor decisions she makes (anyone remember CDO’s) cause harm to the entire group. Who cares if it’s inefficient. As long as the pilots hate her then RW and JD see that she’s doing her job.

I’d be willing to bet she knows it quite well. And knows exactly what she can get away with violating because ultimately most will “fly it and grieve it”.

Dera hopped on the bandwagon.

Dera, are you also gonna keep commenting on apc after being gone, just like TC on fb pages?

I can't wait to comment without restraint of management retribution.

You know it's a sinking ship, when people leaving to places like Atlas. What about the flow though lol?

once their contract is settled you won’t be able to get in there. It will become much much more competitive. Smart move on both their parts.

‘Go ahead and **** on Atlas, but I will guarantee you that life is better at Atlas then it is Envoy....

Atlas has the best freshly painted planes on internet click ads…then you see one IRL

You mean the contract that they have been working for years to come and keeps going to arbitration, sure if you say so.

Nothing against Atlas at all. It’s just surprising to see so many people give up on flow and a cemented slot at a legacy. They may know more about the future of American then we do.

For me, it would cement me at the bottom of a legacy seniority list, after the biggest hiring wave in history of the airline.

when I say you couldn’t pay me enough, I seriously mean it. But for those who can do it/want it, go for it. More power to you

The longer trips is better for some than others for sure, the layovers get better after COVID passes. Yeah they suck right now.

I am one that did give up flow from one of the other WO, I am not sweating it. Many ways to skin a cat.

But even in the mist of a contract battle, the work environment here at 5Y is no where near hostile like there were at my WO from the sounds of it Envoy also (constant battle with scheduling, fly it and grieve it none sense).

One the contract gets settled and it will. It might be even better. If not, Atlas will continue to still be a training academy for UPS and FedEx.

Horses for courses, as they say in the old blighty. I much prefer longer stretches of work, followed by more time off. Personal preference, neither is better or worse.

Or one man’s trash is another’s treasure.

If you have to commute, longer stretches make it more worthwhile.

it would be amazing to fly a 7-4 around the world, I get that. But the schedule is something myself or my family can’t do. The place is like all others, pros and cons.

I've had 8 days off every single month since IOE that I've worked at Envoy. Sounds like an improvement to me :)

It sounds like that individual is pretty bad at bidding. One of our former LCA’s went over there last year. He bids a 60 day line and never goes out for for more than 10 days at a time and then comes back home for at least a week at a time. Apparently the 767 has even more gentlemanly schedules with many lines being one week on one week off.

Hmmm, that depends on the line. I have a 60 day that covered May and June where I started with 5 off 7 on 8 off 13 on with a training event (this stretch was only longer due to me trying to consolidate otherwise it would have been shorter with some more days at home) followed by 10 days off 15 on finish the month of June with 3 off.

I say your biddies are not bidding correctly or not bidding at all....
