On a more serious matter, a buddy just told me he got cut off from provided commuter hotels. They are tracking and actively honoring the 4 a month now. Truly sad.

That's like trying to order two iPads and getting upset that they kept track and only gave you one. What a bummer.

Serious question. Has anyone ever downgraded for reasons of QOL and expense? I mean for most it would be an easy fix, but what about for people who have kids and financial obligations? To me it sounds crazy, but with this guy? I don't know.

thats good. because if they as the reserves have had 10-15 hotel room per month given now they are tracking it so we wont loose that benny but sorry your friend got caught. lets see, thats 4, Four, IV rooms per month. I really feel for your buddy.

Truly sad? I hope that was sarcasm. It's people like that who abuse perks and ruin it for everyone else. I enjoy my commuter hotels and how easy it is to get them.

Speaking of that I have flown with a few senior FO's lately that aren't upgrading because junior CA QOL sucks and they know it, they don't work as much in the right seat, have better QOL and pick up 200% OT to make up some of the difference in pay. They plan to stay senior right seat and flow without ever upgrading.

But as we have seen on here it is not the majority or employees, just the select few that abuse it and get upset when there is pushback.
