CRJ is a great plane, better performance and fun to fly than the 175.

For what it's worth, I'm an October CRJ hire. The company has been good to me and I've enjoyed my time here. (New hire bonus, retention bonus, profit sharing ect). The crews and training are some of the best around, aircraft are well maintained, and I get along with scheduling with the exception of one in particular. Who knows....maybe I've been lucky. That being said, it's still a job and the pay NEEDS to change or even content guys like me will start to look elsewhere. I work for money not just a possible carrot at the end of the stick. For now, I'm betting the pay will change and I get to ride that wave. Either way, your happiness here should be what you make of it. Not someone else's projection on a message board of what it should be. Come in positive and you'll do fine.

I've been here through the hell years and get to sit in the right seat while anyone hired in 2011 anywhere else is a captain, besides expressjet.
Outside of being at an airline that downsized, eagle is a solid place. I think guys coming in now have good timing. We will continue to have cash thrown at us, as that seems to be their only idea outside flow.
Planes are well maintained, crews are good. Training is great. As someone who attended multiple job fairs, got the United interview once already, and wants to have a career at a legacy I'm very thankful for the flow. I think many don't realize how difficult it is to get hired at mainline.

Get in and get your number and don't delay starting. Has bitten people before.
When you see the amount of people with Lots of TPIC time and thousands and thousands of hours of total time I can't see the Quickie Upgrade guys getting ahead of anyone knowing the amount of guys even at Eagle who have apps at the Majors.
