Probably the best post so far on APC. Go to an AAG wholly owned and get a guaranteed job at AA while putting resumes out to the other places. Having a job at AA even if it takes 10 years is worth it.

Just because the majority of us think that way, doesn't mean they get the call right away. There were 4 mil guys in my new hire class at Eagle in 99.

anyone have a clue as to when new hires are gonna be trained in the 175? I have a class in late January, and am wondering what I could expect for an assignment. I know CRJ out of Chicago is what many people are getting, (which would be great, as I am from there) but the 175 out of Dallas would be great for reasons more senior people may not agree with. But I digress, any input is appreciated, thanks!

Rumor has it that they "may" start new hires in the 175 in March or April. Aircraft assignment isn't made until training is underway, and they allow people to pick in order of oldest to youngest in class. If you're over 35-40, you would most likely get your choice.

Can someone try and explain how, envoy advertises growth and movement to candidates, and new hires; despite the fact they are downsizing? I'm confused on this.
