Everything rollercoaster said is true. Everything. Also while it's true that upgrade time looks like it may drop we are one bad news announcement away from displacements. What, you say that can't happen. Let's name some headwinds since 2001 and recognize we have t had many in the last 6 -8 years. Anything. An happen but telling people we have a 6 yr upgrade when that 6 yr guy hasn't even seen class yet is wrong.

Envoy pilot recruitment page shows this number: 972-374-5200. I googled it and found it in literally 15-seconds. And I promise that if the recruiter cannot answer your question on the spot, they'll find out for you. I should have started with that when you asked the question, but you should have looked it up and made the call yourself before running to the forum. I assumed that you couldn't find the number to begin with, so was saying do what you need to do to contact them and find out. We need new hires (both us line pilots and the company). It is a good place to work (obviously not perfect, and coming off of a tough 15-years) and if I gave off a cowboy impression, that is not how we do things here. Sometimes you need to massage policy in order to move the mail; but being earnest and deliberate about it is also important. Good luck.

You can interview with Envoy when you are within 1 year of obtaining your ATP/R-ATP minimums.
You can use whatever is legal in 61.159 and/or 61.160 to be employed. To help, you can use hours from the ATP-CTP course and Envoy's new hire training program, for a total of 42 hours (10 at ATP-CTP and 32 at Envoy), towards your total flight time requirement. If you are short the 50 hours of multiengine time, you can use up to 25 hours in a full-flight simulator as part of a 121 program (i.e. Envoy's new hire training) to help you meet the 50.
Therefore, the minimums you can start class at Envoy, assuming all other 61.159/61.160 requirements are met, are:
1458TT and 25ME (for those requiring 1500TT for an ATP),
1208TT and 25ME (for those qualifying for a 1250TT R-ATP),
958TT and 25ME (for those qualifying for a 1000TT R-ATP), or
708TT and 25ME (for those quailifying for a 750TT R-ATP).
Also bear in mind that if you have less than 500 hours of XC, you can obtain a R-ATP with at least 200 hours of XC provided all other requirements of 61.159/61.160 are met.

Alright, I have a contract question for you guys. There were about 55 guys that got awarded a BT from OFE to DFE. All but 15 of those pilots have transferred to Dfw. Junior pilots are coming into Dfw before they are allowed transfer. They were scheduled to be here in July and then two weeks prior they got pushed back, same thing happened in august, and again in September.
Can they indefinitely push this back?
How can they allow someone junior to them to transfer to Dfw and make them wait?

Also, each award has a "enter training no later than" date. Theoretically, they should get their transfer before that. Historically, it's been WAY before that date. So, no, they can't push their BT date indefinitely.

Only indefinite way is to cancel the award for said pilots who were awarded the transfer. If they do, a grievance is in order if company allows the junior pilots to stay in DFW.
