What is the required time to stay to not have to pay this back. Don't plan on leaving but if another major called before flow time it would be hard not to leave. How would they want you to pay this bonus back if you resign prior to the required time?
Leave before 12 months up, you owe it all back, after 12, it's prorated.

Does anyone know the ratio of new hires going to 145 vs crj? I'm local to DFW so definitely don't want the CRJ. Looking at accepting a class in November. Any idea what might be being offered in November?

I believe bonuses are taxed at 25%, but I could be wrong. Still a nice chuck of change to help out.

The initial withholding will be at the maximum rate. What actually gets kept at the end of the fiscal year will depend on your tax rate, and if you're Trump smart, whatever deductions you can scrape together.

Your parents get unlimited D2Ps. Anybody can be your "parents", but you can only switch the people out once per year.

Everyone else are D3s and you get 12 of those per year. So if you put your actual parents down as parents, they would be D2P and your in laws D3s.
Hi! Thanks for great explanation!
quick question, if an international flight is operated by oneworld partner under AA are you still eligible for free flights?

Like the lady said it's a wise ass guess. But there are much more 145s that CRJ so you are likely to get the 145.

On One World airlines our boarding priority is behind their own employees but ahead of anyone else.

On non AA, non One World flights you can purchase ZED fares online through our company website. You and your spouse & children are eligible and many airlines allow you to purchase for your parents as well.

Otherwise, on actual AA flights it's the travel benefits I explained earlier.

Does anyone know if or when they will hire into the 175 again? Heard the 10th class is all ORD but possibly the 24th class? Also are all classes filled up for the forseeable future? I'm in the pool but don't have a class assigned yet.
