I've got another question about the travel benefits. My understanding of the flight benefits are that your parents, spouse, and children under a certain age can fly. What about in-laws? Is it just mom/dad of employee, or can you have mom/dad of employee and spouse? I won't be adding my in-laws so if they are allowed I was going to add a couple that I call my mom and dad in place of my in-laws, but they are not my biological parents. At Frontier if we didn't add our parents or spouse we could add others who could travel in their place. Is Envoy like that? It's confusing to explain online so I hope it makes sense.
Thanks again. See everyone at CTP on the 14th.

D1
D2
D2P
D3
You, your spouse/partner, and children get 6 D1s per year and unlimited D2s
Your parents get unlimited D2Ps. Anybody can be your "parents", but you can only switch the people out once per year.
Everyone else are D3s and you get 12 of those per year. So if you put your actual parents down as parents, they would be D2P and your in laws D3s.

Correct. And it can only be your "Parents In Law" if your actual parents are dead. I know many people that have tried to switch the benefits from their parents that never use the benefits to their step parents that would use them, but it is not allowed by AA.

Another note on travel benefits: your actual boarding priority within your status is determined by check-in time. So say you are travelling with your wife as D2s. Your ranking among other D2s on that same flight would be determined by when you checked in. Check in can be done up to 24 hours prior to departure time and you can do it from home on your computer or our Jetaway app. You would still be ahead of any D3s and D2Ps regardless of what time you checked-in and behind any D1s.
Pilots from other airlines (including non-wholly owned regionals) fall somewhere below D3s or level with them.

Regionals that support Eagle operation and have somewhat of AA benefits fall under AAC and that is above D3. Anyother pilot commuting will fall under D6 Category
