Yeah, not in a year. The goal is 3,000 pilots while still flowing 30..with a net increase of 20 per month.

At one point, Republic flew over 100 170/175s for AAG (between AA and US Airways), some of them were 80 seaters with NO first class . I'm hearing is down to 85 hulls flown by Republic for AAG. Republic's growth next year is coming from United, not AA.

But currently Envoy is flowing and growing...which is great at both ends of the seniority list.
Agreed.

It would take nearly 7 years to grow the list to 3k by increasing it by 20 per month from current levels.

3,000 pilots is roughly 300 airplanes or half of the AA feed.

That's Pedro's goal...and it's all I know about it. Anymore details you'll have to ask him directly. Or someone close to him like Nieder or Wilson.

It was 105 total Ejets, 85 E75 and 20 E70.

During BK that numbers has decreased to 84, 82 E75 and 2 E70.

The 80 seats E75 did have first class as far as I can re,ember and will be reconfigured in order to allow RAH to merge Republic and Shuttle into a single certificate. I believe there is Mainline partner with CBA language that prevented this, by American reconfiguring the birds they call operate under a single roof now.

Personally I don't think that is good news. I want the flying, and the pilots, at AA. Of course we still may be headed that way, when you look at retirement numbers, but it would be much much better for every pilot at envoy if they kept us the same size and flowed the surplus pilots, like AA was asking us to start doing. This cements metering for the long term, and while that isn't the worst thing that could happen with the flow, it is far from the best.

While I am glad they finally opened their immensely deep pockets to get enough new hires to flow 30, the agreement said they were supposed to try for 50%, and only meter if operationally required. Pushing for big growth isn't an operational requirement. With AA supposedly set to hire 800-1000 next year, 330 is woefully short, at the expense of all of us.

I'm scheduled for an interview soon. If everything goes ok and receive the pre-offer. How long does it take to receive the final offer? Is it ok to call the recruiter to inquiry about job offer while you wait for the Captain's Review Board?

I got in to interview 5 days after the pay announcement. It was 1-2 days tops between the pre-offer given during the interview and the final offer after the review board. I didn't call or email them because I honestly had no clue the captain's review board was a thing. I just thought they were doing the background check and gathering more paperwork. Now I'm just waiting for CTP and a drug test. It may take longer now that the applications are flying in. Just be patient. The recruiters I met in Dallas were all very friendly and everyone down there was getting very busy.

Which day of the week was yours? Mine is on a Wednesday and I think the review boards are on Fridays. Just curious if I'd make the cut for that Friday or I'll have to wait until the following Friday.
