New hires are getting $60,000 per year now. That's year ONE! Industry leading. The rest of the payscale is industry standard or better.
Schedules have been discussed over and over here. They are largely made out to be something that they are not. There are some lines that are less than desirable but they are few and far between. Even those will be fixed with the changeup in the flight file from AAG come January/February time frame.
If Envoy were so bad, then we wouldn't have 50 new hires per month. These new hires recognize the value in Envoy, especially with the no interview/no medical flow to AA in less than 6 years.
Why is it you are so against the company? If you've been here 3 years, you are halfway to AA. Are you not interested in working for the largest major airline in the world? I suggest you dump the negativity. If you can't, there are other boards that will welcome you with open arms.

- Checks in the mail for better schedules. Got it. Been here 8 years actually and I'm working 4 on 2 off with the 4 days equaling 15 hours max. We've been told they'll get better for the last 9 months, and only getting worse. Words mean nothing. Actions are everything.
- How many of those new hires are sticking around? Just heard of a new hire getting written up during IOE.

Cr700 is absolutely full of it. Schedules are awful, reserve is worse, OT is not on par with other airlines, schedule flexibility is non-existent, management is out to get the ones who ruffle the feathers (call in sick more then 3 times per 12 months, call in sick over holidays, etc)
Now for the good? First year pay is double then what I started with. The flow is real. If you live in either ORD or DFW (soon the NY area) life ain't so bad. This airline is geared towards locals, bottom line. If you commute...good luck.

What i am against is you coming on here peddling your lies and making stuff up.
Lies
1) schedules aren't that bad
2) we are hiring 50 per month (rumor is November will be the first month to hire 50 NH)
3) flowing 40 per month in January
4) I'm sure there are more but I got to get ready. I will look at your older post during my 4 hour sit today and add on to the list.

Do some research and make a decision best for you. Envoy is hard to see the good right now, except the money, but continuing with 50 NH a month will fix a lot of things. It's a tough decision to make unless your willing to take a little risk to be on the front end of a hiring wave.
I can't speak to Skywest as I don't work there.

Depends... when are you looking at starting? Will you commute? Spouse? Kids?
If you are planning on starting in January then I would wait until mid December to see if they truly are trying to fix our schedules. If you live in DFW or ORD then no question I would pick Envoy over Skywest. If you commute then Skywest maybe. Envoy isn't perfect but it still offers great pay and quick upgrade with the flow in the back pocket. If Envoy fixes its schedules then it will be a great place to start for you. But Envoy has no control over fixing the schedules so it is up to AAG to provide us with a better flight file.
