Big things are happening for Envoy. Management held a Q&A session today and provided the following information (borrowed from someone else's notes of the meeting):
Revised Flow/Upgrade numbers - AA has 600 newhire slots planned for 2016. 1500 AA newhires over the next 2 years is the plan.
300 Envoy flows for next year. 750 Envoy flows over the next two years alone.
205 upgrades planned now. Those are yet to be awarded and will be in class before the year (2016) is out.
New hire upgrade/flow to AA now planned at 2.5/5.5 years.
Additional 175's - Options are on the table, along with acquiring other existing airframes.
iPads - iPads should be coming our way around March or April and will be individually mailed to the pilot's home address. We are currently fully EFB (ipad) approved but pilots have to provide their own ipads. Starting next year the company will be providing pilots with their own ipads for use.
Envoy shooting for 345 new hires next year. (PM current Envoy pilots for help getting an interview sooner rather than later)
Again, these notes are not mine but from others who attended the meeting. Whoever else was there please add to this information anything else you may have.

Now that 2016's final numbers are in and Envoy flowed 254, does that mean that 496 are flowing in 2017?
Skyvector has all but disappeared from this thread. I guess he is embarrassed about his "projections" being so off and is hiding under a rock somewhere.

Ag386, has selective reading, and an Ego for wanting to be right.
To Skyvectors defense, "again these notes are not mine but from others who attended the meeting...etc"
I dnt think Skyvector is ENY mgmt or a top level decision maker. Do you?
Is Skyvector Mr. Kenji Hashimoto-AAG senior VP fella in charge of all AAG regional carrier feed (FFD) / and WO'd?
Your beef should be withPedro (ENY CEO), and top level mgmt. Why would Skyvectors be embarrassed?
Majority of what was stated is happening (especially increased recruitment numbers, pay, bonuses & upgrades). Fleet planning is beyond ENY control. How decisions & schedules are executed is.
ENY line pilots are not your enemy. Line pilots do distrust mgmt like u do, and for good reasons. That's just about every regional & many at mainline.

Ol' Skyvector posted over a year ago that ENVOY would be flowing 300 in 2017 and 750 over the next two years alone.

Well over 50 new hires per month.
30 upgrades per month (likely to increase)
NY back open.
Flowed more than contractually required.
Stagnation is finally being replaced by some movement.
20k bonus over two years.
150/200% OT/critical coverage We can now pick up OT from trips already assigned to reserve pilots which makes it even easier to pick up OT.

Just comparison to now that a lot of those issues he had are taken care of. Now that there is a turnaround at ENY with recruiting and staffing, AAG's actual fleet plans & shrinking of ENY has not changed. No new announcement made abt additional 175's that are options being exercised, and that concerns me.

Yeah, the only thing I've heard is that AAG might block seats on some 700s to comply with scope and make room for more 175s...but who knows. The re-opening of NY came out of nowhere, while the persistent rumors of MIA led to nothing.

Actually it was costing a significant penny, they were having 15+ on the E75 per class but could only handle 6 per class, some got sent home for 2 to 4 months awaiting training and were receiving pay and benefits during the time.

Exactly. He's probably upset that he got fired and will never flow to AA. Has to make him more bitter seeing the success Envoy is having and with the incredible flow rate we have.
