They must have used the justification that all captains will flow rather soon then and won't need a retention bonus?

What's the latest flow timeline at Envoy? I'm told 9E upgrades are at 36 months, then two years in left seat before interviewing at Delta. Realistically, 5 years to Delta. It comes down to what legacy carrier you can see yourself at for 30 years, right?

So, with the 121 experience, signing bonus, and retention pay, Envoy is offering $35k. 9E offers $46k in retention pay and training bonuses during that same time frame.

The retention bonus says that you have to be on property prior to March 1, 2016, I believe. That would mean that new hire FO's will be eligible for the sign on bonus (if prior 121), and FO's already on property will get the retention bonus. Can't get both. Isn't that what it says?

Endeavor definitely pays more than Envoy and has a faster upgrade.
But Endeavor only gets you the Delta interview where Envoy gets you into AA. Small differences, but time will tell what actually matters to the new guys.

First of all, I am very happy for the Envoy pilots. Congrats. This is great news for you.

I'd think that ALPA or the company would clarify that soon.

So yesterday guys will get the whole 10k for this year. The next class will get 2,500k less, and so on.

Odd how RAH files for bankruptcy last week, (which is flying around 106 E170/175's for AA). A large #. There staffing is about to tank big time even worse with the BK.
Now today we get retention bonus and higher new hire bonus for 121 pilots. Very recently AA said they weren't willing to give us anything extra, kept saying flow was enough.
Seems maybe AA could be unsure of keeping all those aircraft with RAH in bankruptcy and their staffing nightmare, and anticipate moving some American Eagle flying back here, needing the extra staffing here. (Why else would they FINALLY give in $$$)? Just a thought..
